Practo, a prominent health services platform, has appointed Jagnoor Singh as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) in a bid to boost operational efficiency and fuel growth.

 

With over 16 years of experience in leadership roles at companies such as Airtel, OYO, Mondelez, and Unacademy, Singh brings valuable expertise in sales, marketing, and business development. 

 

Singh has a strong track record of implementing scalable processes to optimize operations and drive growth.

 

In his new role, Singh will work closely with Shashank ND, cofounder and CEO of Practo, to expand the company’s presence and accelerate its growth in the healthcare sector.

 

His focus will be on building robust processes, ensuring smooth execution, and driving accelerated growth. Singh will also lead go-to-market strategies aimed at deepening market penetration and expanding into new regions.

 

Singh expressed his excitement about joining Practo at a crucial juncture for the healthcare industry, emphasizing the company’s focus on improving health outcomes through technology. He is eager to contribute to Practo’s growth by building strong teams and implementing strategies that ensure sustainable success.

 

Practo has raised a total of $228 million across nine funding rounds. The most recent funding round was a Series D round on April 26, 2022, where the company secured $1.68 million.

 

Practo achieved its first profitable quarter in Q4 of FY '24 and is on a path to sustained profitability, with consecutive profits in the preceding 12 months ending September 2024. The company narrowed its losses to INR 17 crore in FY'24 from INR 99 crore in the previous financial year.

 

Practo has made several strategic acquisitions to enhance its offerings and expand its market presence over the years.

 

For instance, in December 2016, Practo acquired Enlightiks, an advanced analytics platform offering business intelligence solutions to healthcare enterprises. This acquisition was intended to strengthen Practo's enterprise solutions by providing actionable insights to healthcare providers, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and quality of care.

 

In September 2015, Practo acquired Qikwell Technologies, a Bangalore-based company specializing in hospital appointment scheduling. This acquisition aimed to improve patient experience by providing seamless appointment booking and reducing waiting times across hospitals and clinics.
